1. Reason to hang out

November is a time to be grateful for those around you – your friends, your family, your belay partner. Reel Rock is the perfect opportunity to take some time out of your busy week and spend an evening relaxing with this years sickest climbing videos and your favorite people. There will be beer, food and a vendor village to play games and win prizes. Pretend it’s the weekend and spend your Thursday night with your crew and with ours.

2. Giveaways

Calling all van livers and dirtbag climbers – we have loads of free stuff! Our raffle this year is incredible. We have Yeti, we have The North Face, we have – well if you want to find out more you’ll just have to stop by. But seriously – there are mountains of prizes to give away. See what we did there, MOUNTAINS of prizes. . .

3. Opportunity to “Fan-girl” Out

Four movies, loads of outdoor vendors, maybe an athlete or two…Polish your best Adam Ondra yell because this is the greatest opportunity of the year embrace your inner fan-girl. Instead of late night youtube binges, you get to share an entire evening dedicated to climbers among hundreds of other climbers. This is basically Climbercon.

4. Limited Release

Reel Rock is only being released to a select few venues this November. The film has been touring through cities such as New York and San Francisco, and now it’s here! Can you believe it’s finally here! We sure can’t. So please don’t miss out on your maybe only opportunity to see the films. We would be so sad for you.

5. Giving Back

Thanksgiving is right around the corner. We want you to take a quick minute and think hard about what you are most thankful for. We at the Coop are thankful for Friends of Joshua Tree, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring Joshua Tree National Park remains a destination climbing spot. All proceeds from our Reel Rock event will go towards trail restoration, park improvements, and to educating climbers on ethical climbing practices and park issues. It is a privilege and an honor to wander the desert and climb the natural features of the national park. Josh is a destination near and dear to many of our hearts here and we hope you are as excited as we are to donate to such a deserving organization.
