The Smartwool Corbet Jacket is an extremely comfortable jacket that turned out to be a very useful piece while in Squamish. Nick and I were able to wear it in just about any conditions while not feeling too cold or hot. This is due to the core of the jacket that’s filled with 120 grams of Smartloft, their synthetic insulation material. This helps to regulate heat very well during any sort of activities such as; waking up to make coffee, hiking to the climbing areas, and even warming up for the day. Another thing I loved about the core is that the material is DWR treated, meaning it is Durable Water Resistant. The sleeves have integrated thumb-holes that help give you that extra bit of warmth in a pinch, and are also next to skin merino wool which is antimicrobial, breath well, and prevent you from overheating. I think this is an essential piece to anyone who loves being active and in the outdoors.
The Propulsion jacket is designed for high intensity output in cool to cold conditions. The lower half of the jacket uses a stretchy and highly breathable knit fabric for ease of movement. The top is filled with 60g of SmartLoft wool insulation and coated with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) providing protection against the elements. This makes the jacket perfect for activities like running or riding a bike when the conditions are less than ideal.
Ever wonder what sexy looks like? It’s you in these shorts. Don’t believe me? Fine, I’ll be wearing my pair and score all the ladies while you sit on the sidelines. Don’t be a fool, put yourself in the game. Enter into the world of an internal brief liner, 7” inseam, superior temperature regulation, and pure sexiness. I can already feel you wanting to click the “add to cart” button.
These boxer briefs are hands down the most comfortable underwear that I have worn in 9 years. Of course, I haven’t worn underwear in 9 years, but SmartWool turned that around and that’s saying something. The merino feels like a cloud against your skin and keeps the funk at bay. Let’s say you’re on a 3 day climbing trip with the girl you’ve been flirting with at the gym. Wear these for the entire trip, confident that she will not run away once you get into the tent at night.
Ain’t nobody got time to be changing shirts for every slight change in the weather. Luckily, SmartWool has got your back with their base layers. They will keep you warm during your morning coffee, regulate body temperature during your epic hike up that unsent peak, and ensure satisfaction to your skin as that next-to-skin merino works its magic. Maybe you can only afford to buy one t-shirt to rule them all? SmartWool is your answer.

So, the short sleeve couldn’t quite cut it for you, huh? SmartWool understands this dilemma, adding extra length to their sleeves and dubbing this baselayer “long-sleeve.” Makes sense, right? I get it, though, Bishop drops down to 5 degrees at night sometimes, or your summer biceps aren’t ready for summer yet. Simply put, there are times that call for a long sleeve.
The PhD Outdoor Light series are designed with the SmartWool Indestructawool technology for ultimate confidence in the lifespan of your purchase. If comfort is a priority (as it should be) for you, these socks have you covered. The “4 degree elite fit system” entails two elastics that provide greater stretch and recovery, meaning your socks will not be sliding off your foot. Maybe you’re worried that your feet will get sweaty in that “oh so freaking hot” wool. Have you been living under a rock? The mesh ventilation zone on the top of the sock wouldn’t allow that!
